Alumni News
ALUMNI
The Hope and Glory Inn from 1890 to 1908 was a schoolhouse for the Chesapeake Male and Female Academy – the predecessor to Irvington’s Chesapeake Academy today. It was a boarding school then; and, we might say, a much improved one today. It is only befitting that our guests become our Alumni.
Scholarships and grants will offered throughout the year to our Alumni.
"Even when it was a school, it was a great place to sleep...now it's a great place to wake as well"
