The Golden Eagle Golf Club is located at The Tides Resort and is a wonderful place to play a round or two of golf. The wooded landscape meanders alongside and around the 50-acre Golden Eagle Pond, providing a lovely setting for a day of golf. The course was designed by George W. Cobb and features exciting elevation changes and well-placed bunkers, making the course suitable for all skill levels.

The Golden Eagle Golf Club has been rated one of Virginia’s most scenic and enjoyable golf courses. It was built in 1976 and features 18 holes of championship-level golf. They also have a Par-3 nine-hole golf course for those of you short on time, in addition to a driving range.

When you’re done, head to the Clubhouse, where you can enjoy a relaxed meal at the Golden Eagle Grill or return for some wine at oysters at The Dog & Oyster at the Hope and Glory Inn. The Golden Eagle Golf Club is open daily from 8 am – 5 pm, and reserved tee times are required. Rental equipment is available as needed, too.
