Chef’s Winter Special

During January, February, and March, we’re offering a special menu and pricing for our guests, neighbors, and friends at The Dining Hall and Detention, our bar. For just $55 per person, plus tax and gratuity, you get an elegant three-course dinner. We are also offering select bottles of wine at half price!

  • The Chef’s Winter Special is available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and reservations are required.
  • Parties of 10 - 16 are welcome on Sundays and Mondays.

GLORYfied Oysters – Wild caught Kellum Select Rappahannock River Oysters, traditionally harvested from local river beds, pastry baked and topped with Basil, Pesto and Asiago Cheese

Puffed Pastry filled with Creamy Shrimp and crab topped with Belgioioso Romano

Asiago and Panko encrusted Rappahannock Rockfish served on Herbed
Cannelloni Bean Puree and topped with Mustard Grain Honey Dabble
served with Carrots a la Vichy, Baked Potato and Creamed Spinach

Duck with a Black Sherry Sauce
Carrots a la Vichy, Potatoes Au Gratin, Brussel Sprouts

Don’t forget to join us for our Ethiopian Dinner Nights — dinners with Ethiopian cuisine (for Americans) on select Thursdays of each month starting in January! And, on the first and third Fridays of the month, we will once again host our highly acclaimed Chef’s Table! The owners, Dudley and Peggy Patteson, host a dinner table of our guests, neighbors, and friends. The conversation is always intoxicating.
