A Dining Experience

at the fountain patio named Hooky of the Hope and Glory Inn

Dining is weather-dependent; and, for our guest's safety, served on our hotel’s fountain patio aptly named Hooky – a place to stay away from school or work without permission or explanation.

A Table D’Hote Dinner showcasing (3) Gastronomic Foods – Wine(grapes), Oysters, and Coffee(beans) that more than all other foods – reflect a “Sense of Place”.


TABLE D’HOTE (prix fixe) - 3 Courses

Roasted Oysters – Wild-caught Kellum select Rappahannock River oysters, traditionally harvested from local river beds, pastry baked and topped with basil, pesto, and Asiago cheese

*Shrimp can be substituted for the oysters.


Rappahannock River Jumbo Lump Crab with tartar relish, Virginia spoon bread paired with a local vegetable medley from MaeBird Farm, the family’s commercial garden in Charles City County that includes beets, carrots, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, squash, and assorted greens.

*Chateaubriand can be substituted for the crab.


Chef’s Surprise Dessert

Panna Cotta with Mélange of Berries
Limoncello Mousse with a Mélange of Berries topped with Lemon Thyme


Dinner – three courses

$80 per guest plus taxes and 20% gratuity

 

Hope and Glory’s Dessert and Espresso Bar is a new addition to our culinary experience. Everyone is welcome to enjoy our Chef’s handmade desserts along with a variety of elegant espressos and distinguished after-dinner drinks.

Whether you are late afternoon “pop-in”; or, you will be joining us after having dinner elsewhere; or, as a part of our dinners - this is a not to be missed culinary treat.
